I read The Little Red Hen. The hen worked very hard. Shplanted, cut it, grind it, bake it by hisself. No one helped her owever, when he asked to help to eat the bread made by se grew bread, they wanted to help. Of course se didn't gave this bread. I thought he was so cute. But if I was her, I didn't ask them to help to eat.

These days

Val's Diary

How's it going?

Last Sunday, I attended open canpas! I talked a lot of high school students and they asked me about entrance exam. I somehow answered. And I said that I passed this school but the center exam's jugdement(the possibility which I can pass) was 30%. They were so surprised. I thought my experiment made them encouragement and I want them to pass this university. that day's experiment was so precious.

I read Rich man, Poor man. Old man gave his son a money order. This is one hundred pound! However, He was told a lie. First when he was taken a photo, the next day, he was said what's it. Second, he gave it, he was said he can't change and he was given only ten pound. I'm worry about him...

Last weekend

Last weekend, I did part-time job and read a picture book to young children.
I like reading book to anyone, but this time isn't a little different. Because I read in a bookstore! And I gave money! So I was very very nervous. And when the time has come, I had stomache from nervous. I read the book to young children, they looked a little tired. I was so disappointed. However, when the event finished, some children said to me they enjoyed. I was so happy. I want toread well!!

Food and Drink in Britain

The most popular kind of fish used is cod, but other white fish was also used. I read Food and Drink in Britain. This book is about Britain' s cook! I thought this is worse than Japan. But after reading, I knew that Britain's cook has long history, and it looks delicious. I want to go there and eat a lot!

I read The House on the Hill. This story was so funny. Maria was so beautiful but she wanted money. Pawl loved her. She married a rich man. However when her mother was died, she wanted Pawl. He said she should go back to her husband. I thought Maria was so bad because she thought about only money and it's right to his select.

I read Anna and the Fighter. Anna thought that Sam is a criminal for the first time because the newspaper said he is a dangerous fighte. However the word meant that he is a nice boxer. And she was sorry to him. I think the newspaper isn't good to write something to understand to everyone.

Last weekend

Last weekend, I went you-me town at Hikarinomori with my friend. I went there for the first time in eleven years. When I was a child, I lived in Kumamoto city and often go there. However I moved to Yatsushiro, I didn't go. So I was looking forward to going. There are many shops, restaurant, and more... We had delicious lunch and went many shops. I bought many goods for example goods, cakes, nail goods...I was so excited and the day was so happy! I want to go again!

I read The Wizard of Oz. The main character, Dorothy, lost her and her parents house by whirlwind. And she go to the Emerald City with her friends which lost something. She won the bad wizard and at last they got something to lose. I like this story when I was an elementary school student. And it doesn't change during Japanese and English. I was so happy.

I read Last chance. The main character, Mike, is a news cameraman. However he was always said his news isn't good by his boss. So he decides to rport a big news and went to Hawaii to see dangerous volcano. He met a young woman whose legs so badly by the volcano there. He saved her but his camera went into it. However he said nothing. I was so moved. In the end, his camera was discovered and it took great picture. I thought his action compared in Japanese proverbs, killing two birds with one stone. It' s because he got her and  camera! It' sso good!
